return homefirst we found a suitable location with a good set of trees to hang the web from as well as one that was hidden from direct eyeline as we were building this in a public space. we found a spot along a river that is relatively close to a foot path but has good tree coverage to conceal us.
next we brought a trash bag to pick up all the beer cans and cigarettes left all over the place, including 2 full unopened banquets
after cleaning up all the trash, we tied a 3/8" polypropylene rope around the trees we had chosen. we used another bit of some smaller rope as a tensioning system to make sure it was tight around the trees.
